Announcing Kitchen Circus Season One!

July 23, 2013

When I was five I used to stand in front of the mirror and practice my acceptance speeches for when I would someday win an Oscar.

Kitchen Circus Season One Premier Party. L to R my fabulous friends who cheered me on every step of the way, Anna-Lea, Angela, and Andrea.

Kitchen Circus Season One Premier Party. L to R my fabulous friends who cheered me on every step of the way, Anna-Lea, Angela, and Andrea.

I would generously thank the make-believe people who had got me there, illustrating incredible graciousness for someone my age (did I mention in this fantasy world I was the youngest person to ever win an Oscar?), and laugh humbly (yet wildly endearingly) at the commentator’s questions. Clutching a wooden spoon I had stolen from the kitchen as my microphone I would bat my eyelashes and tell them just how much fun it had all been.

This past Fall, while I didn’t win any Oscars for my performance, I did have the incredible opportunity to be part of Kitchen Circus, your new favorite reality TV cooking show. Hosted by Top Chef Master Thierry Rautureau, each episode of Kitchen Circus features three home cooks testing their skills preparing one course of a three course meal at Seattle’s renowned Rover’s restaurant. Battling to master the rigors of a professional kitchen and be voted the favorite course of the evening by 45 paying guests.

The season has just released and I am so excited to share it with you. It can be accessed via You Tube, but is best watched on your big screen TV so the high-definition sizzle can fully come through.

And the Oscar goes to…

  • Best Drama – Episode One
  • Best Culinary Prowess – Episode Two
  • Best Contestant – Episode Three (where yours truly makes my debut)
  • Best Overall Kick-Ass Episode – Episode Four…aka The Finale..where I battle to the finish against fierce competitors Beth and Myrissa.

I hope you watch them…and I hope you love them.

I do.
